BlockX is an EVM-native offchain compute layer. You write functions around EVM blocks, state, events, and contract calls. BlockX executes those functions and writes derived results to BlockDB or returns them to you. Start with the chain and block you want to compute against. Follow the same data model when processing new blocks or backfilling history.

EVM computation model

Connect chain and block context, state, events, contract calls, and derived results.

Run your first task

Complete a local computation before connecting EVM data sources.

Write an EVM data function

Read state and call a contract at an explicit block.

Compute per block

Turn trigger rows into derived data and check write completion.

Backfill historical bundles

Process historical data and track computation separately from write jobs.

Understand results

Distinguish task success, write submission, and readable data.
